Dr Yacoub Khalaf is the best consultant and probably thanks to him and ACU team I have two beautiful children today. We had a long journey and after 4 years trying, I can happily say that I am a mother of two beautiful, amazing and healthy identical twin boys. Once we were referred to Guy’s & St Thomas’s ACU, we have seen by Dr Mona Salman who did the necessary extra checks and she advised me first to have a myomectomy operation before we would start the IVF process.. As we were funded by our local council which only allowed one free IVF cycle we wanted to be sure if we try it then we will have good chance to succeed as we weren’t in a position to spend loads of money on high priced IVF clinics. Luckily, just before the pandemics kicked off I had my myomectomy operation performed by Dr Khalaf who has successfully removed 22 fibroids from my uterus. My recovery went very well and ACU contacted us in June 2020 to resume the IVF and lucky I got pregnant on the first round with identical twin boys. As I had excellent operation and care in GSTH, I decided to continue my journey with this hospital and stayed with them for maternity treatment and care. I had elective c section to give birth and while I had my operation the consultant was asking who has done my myomectomy operation as I had no scars at all or any sign of my operation, which means Dr Khalid had done a superb job. Probably thanks to his work I have managed to get pregnant straight away with first round of IVF. If you want the best treatment, care, advice and if you need any operation then I would highly recommend you to go with Guy’s & St Thomas’s Hospital as they have the best consultants, doctors, nurses, midwifes, sonographers etc

I have had a fantastic experience at the hands of Professor Khalaf. I went through 2 cycles of FET with him and always felt I was listen to at ease through treatment. My second cycle was a success and the care I received there after continued to be excellent and attentive. Last week I had my 8weeks scan and was trilled to hear a very strong heartbeat! I don’t think I could have been in better hands!

Words cannot describe how much I truly appreciate all of the advice, commitment and support that Mr Khalaf (and his team) have given me. He is an excellent Consultant and I would not hesitate to recommend him to others. Before I came to see Mr Khalaf I had a very bad experience with another IVF Fertility Clinic who provided no real care and were more concerned about the payment of their invoices. When I first met him in 2016 he immediately put me at ease with his sense of humour and made me feel that I was in good and safe hands and for that I am truly grateful considering the traumatic and stressful time that my husband and I had trying to conceive. Mr Khalaf listened to my concerns and fears and provided reassurance. His professional advice was second to none. The good news is that I became pregnant after my second transfer and I now have a strong, healthy and beautiful 3 year old daughter which would not have been possible without the outstanding service and expertise provided by Mr Khalaf. Thank you for making my dreams come true Mr Khalaf. I would highly recommend him.
